Gunhild Rudjord
Gunhild Rudjord is born in 1961 in Trondheim, Norway.
Gunhild is educated from the Design School Kolding and is currently living and working in Faaborg and has been a glazier at the Tommerup Ceramic Workcenter since 1987. She is now one of the co-owners of Tommerup Ceramic Workcenter. Gunhild also serves on the board of directors at CLAY, the Museum of Ceramic Art in Middelfart, Denmark.
Gunhild is one of the best skilled glazier ceramic artists in Denmark. Her design and glaze are inspired by both Danish and Norwegian ceramic tradition. Her inspiration is often flora and wild landscapes.
She has exhibited in galleries and art shows in Denmark and Norway and among the highlightes of assignments Gunhild has delivered pottery to The Royal Palace in Olso, Norway and vases to the danish crown prince couple, Fredensborg, Denmark. Guldhild is received the Order of the Dannebrog in 2018 for her work.
